Forwarding Addresses

If your lease contract has ended, please provide Holton Mountain Rentals with a forwarding address for your Security Deposit refund. Complete the appropriate Security Deposit Forwarding Address form below.

    • Please advise us of your forwarding address by filling out the form below. Make sure your address is correct to insure timely receipt of your check/check copy.
    • The security deposit refund check, provided you are entitled to a refund, will be mailed from our office within thirty (30) days of the expiration date of your lease. An itemized list of deductions for damages and repairs (if any) will be included with the security deposit refund check.
    • The security deposit refund check will have ALL tenants’ names on it. The ORIGINAL check and itemized deductions list will be mailed to the Tenant #1 address below. If there is more than one tenant on your lease contract, roommates must decide who receives the original check. All Roommate/s will be emailed a COPY of the check and the itemized deductions list to the email address you have provided below. If we receive more than one Information Sheet listing different tenants as Tenant #1, HMR will select who gets the ORIGINAL check.
    • ALL TENANTS MUST SIGN THE BACK OF THE CHECK (ENDORSE) BEFORE IT CAN BE CASHED. If there are any deductions, it is up to roommates to determine who is responsible. Also, there may be other bills that roommates need to settle among themselves, and this provides an opportunity for you to do so. The security deposit is refunded based on the comparison between the HMR Move-In Inspection done prior to your move-in and the HMR Move-Out Inspection done after you move out.
